When HVAC units are used for heating purposes, the air is taken in to be heated. The heating process can occur by several methods including boilers, water heat pumps, or steam generators.

Once the air is heated, it is then blown through the house by the ductwork. All furnaces  consist of four main components: 1) burners that deliver and burn fuel, 2) heat exchangers, 3) a blower and 4) a flue that acts as an exhaust for gaseous by-products. A furnace generates heat by burning fuel and distributes the generated heat throughout the house. Its Important to stay u to date with this, specially when winter time approaches.
